Pick-up from your hotel in Ahmedabad and drive to Dholavira with enroute heritage sightseeing.
Enroute Visit:
• Modhera Sun Temple – Built in 1026 CE by Bhima I of the Chaulukya dynasty, this sandstone temple features a sanctum, Sabha Mandapa, and an intricately designed stepwell reservoir called Surya Kund.
• Rani ki Vav, Patan – An exquisite example of subterranean architecture, this stepwell is designed like an inverted temple with more than 500 masterfully carved sculptures along its seven tiers.
• Panchasara Jain Temples, Patan – A cluster of more than 100 temples with ornately carved pillars and ceilings, built by King Vanraj Chavda in the 8th century, representing the Jain artistic legacy.
Continue drive across the desolate yet enchanting Rann landscape to Dholavira, situated on Khadir Bet island.

• Reservoirs & Hydraulic Structures – Admire the extensive water conservation systems, including stepwells and channels, showcasing Harappan engineering brilliance.
• Harappan Museum & Artifacts – View excavated objects such as terracotta figurines, stone tools, shell ornaments, painted ceramics, and Harappan script inscriptions.
